Ashlyn Nicole Wood

Our darling Ashlyn Nicole Wood, age 29, formerly of Prior Lake, Mn passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024.  

Ashlyn was born on January 7, 1995 to Kirk and Jani Wood in Northfield, MN.  She attended Prior Lake High School.

Ashlyn was a creative soul with a beautiful mind who loved reading, writing and singing. A natural performer. Her poetry reminds us how compassionate, caring and wise beyond her years she was. She was a great friend and support to many and touched everyone who knew her.

Ashlyn will be lovingly remembered by Adeyln and Stella (Scott and Adrian Fischer); Parents Kirk and Jani Wood; two Sisters Alexa and Lily; paternal Grandparents, Sue and Virgil Wood; Maternal Grandparents Mary Louise and Joe Condon, Robert Kletzin; and Great Grandma Lorraine Kletzin; Aunt Jodi (Chris) Oines and Cindi (Mike) Balch; Cousins Kailee, Blake, Madeline Oines. Jake and Carli Balch

She is preceded in death by her Brother Luke Taylor Wood; Great Grandpa Robert C Kletzin, and Great Grandparents Thaddeus and Louise Lazarz.  

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 3:00PM with a celebration of Ashlyn's life at 3:30PM.  A gathering of family and friends will take place immediately following the service until 5:30PM.

                                                    Though gone too soon, her spirit flies
