David R. Hardaway

David Rodney Hardaway was born July 6, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois to Reverend Thomas Hardaway and Jimmie Nell Hardaway who preceded him in death. 

Affectively known as Rodney, he attended Van Vlissingen Elementary School. He also attended Fenger High School. 

At an early age Rodney accepter Christ. He was a member of the West 95th Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. He also visited different churches here in Minnesota. 

Rodney moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. In May of 2003 he married Crystal Hayes to this union three children were born. Although they divorced, they still remained friends. 

Rodney is now in the arms of his parents whom he loved very much. 

David Rodney Hardaway transitioned from life to an eternal life Tuesday, October 12,2021.

He lives to cherish his memory: His children Dia'Manta Haynes, Vincent James, De'Angela James, John Gayfield, Kierra Hardaway, David Hardaway Jr, and Ja'Nell Hardaway. One sister Jessica Hardaway-Fleming, (Daniel) of Indianapolis, Indiana. One brother Bruce Hardaway Sr. of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. Two aunts, Olean Beaird of Hickory Valley and Ester Hill of Joliet, Illinois. One uncle Nathaniel Hardaway (Flo) of Omaha, Nebraska. One sister-in-law Kenyatta and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The memorial service will be held at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 7950 Blaine Ave. Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 from 12:00pm-2:00pm
