Delmarie went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2024 at the age of 86.
Her family, friends and caregivers were beside her throughout her illness providing great support, care and love. Delmarie’s life changed drastically when she surrendered her life to Christ. She believed in the promises of the Bible, especially that Jesus loved her. (John 3:16-17). She begin to walk in the forgiveness, healing and reconciliation God provided her and stressed the importance of reconciling with God and others. It changed her life and the trajectory of generations to come.
She would use her life as a living witness of what God can do to help many woman and men to walk in that same freedom she received. Delmarie was known for being adventurous and creating fun activities for her family. She told encouraging and humorous life stories with the goal of motivating anyone who crossed her path. She loved to read, bake, sew, garden, go fishing, attend the MN State Fair and travel to the ocean.
Delmarie loved her family very much and leaves a strong legacy of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
