Delores Marie (Curler) (Reed) Clements, 77, of West St. Paul, MN peacefully passed away from a rare health issue on September 16, 2023, at Regions Hospital of St Paul, MN.
Delores was born on April 21, 1946, to Harold and Vera Curler in Bemidji, MN. She grew up in Hines, MN with her teen years spent in Baudette, MN where she graduated in 1964. In 1965, she moved to the Twin Cities where she met and married Bill Reed. They had three children. She worked as a home health aid for Dakota County for 30 years.
In 1990, Delores met and married her husband, John Clements. They managed apartments together. They loved to travel and visited Florida, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Jerusalem, and Wisconsin Dells. Branson was her favorite and she enjoyed many family trips there.
As a committed believer in Christ, Delores was an active member of South St. Paul Assembly of God and later Grace Church of the Nazarene. She was in several prayer groups and was part of a Hymn Singing Group that would sing at Nursing Homes.
Delores touched and made an impact on each person she met. She was a loving mom, grandmother, and great grandmother but most of all she was a good friend. She sent cards and was generous to others. Her phone rang continuously. She loved eating out with the ladies after church even when she couldn't eat. She made sure to share her faith everywhere she went.
Delores is proceeded in death by her husband John Clements, her parents Harold and Vera Curler and an infant brother Delbert Otto. She is survived by sisters Lorraine (Peter) Holcomb of Washington and Carol (Melford) Shower of Grand Forks, North Dakota; her children Penny Douglas of Thief River Falls, MN, Dean Reed, West St. Paul, MN, and Michael (Regina) Reed of Hinckley, MN. She has 5 grandchildren and a great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday September 30th of 2023, at Grace Church of the Nazarene of Inver Grove Heights, MN on Blaine Ave.
