Jack E. Nelson

Jack E. Nelson, age 91, of South Saint Paul, MN

 Died peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2020 with his daughters by his side after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease at Prelude Homes in Woodbury, MN.

Jack was born to Earle and Marlys Nelson in Clarissa, MN Oct. 22, 1928.  Jack married Billee Rose in 1958, and they were together until the day she passed away 5/20/99. Jack supported Billee Rose through a long fought battle with Emphysema and COPD. He was a loving husband to Billee Rose. Jack was a hard working man who worked in the trucking industry until he was 87 years old. He had a love for baseball, and in his younger days music was a way for Jack and his friends and family to connect. Jack was a supportive father to his daughters and loved his grandchildren with all of his heart. He was the rock of the family.  Jack was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and brother in law.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Jackie (Dan) Belde and Billee Jo (Jon) Hall; grandchildren Jack, Tom, Ella, Jon Thomas- JT, and Gavin; one sister Norma LarRue of Richmond, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews

He is preceded in Death by his wife Billee Rose, Mother Marlys (Dickinson), Father Earle Nelson, Sister Bonnie Williams of Seattle Washington
