James D. Dettwiler

James Dennis Dettwiler, age 79, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. He was born in Wadena, MN on April 1, 1943. Jim was owner and operator of Jimmy's Auto Care for 23 years. His hobbies were motorcycling, hunting, and mud racing 

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Emanuel Dettwiler, mother, Laurentia Martony, sisters, Patricia Soules, and Donna Gramstad.

Jim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Dettwiler; brothers, Gary (Diana), Roger, Tim (Shanna), and Mark (Michelle) Dettwiler; sisters Lita, Nancy Dettwiler, and Sheila (Michael) Stokes;  children, Lori Vechione (Mark), Lisa Bestel (Gary), LeeAnn Auth (Trent), Nicole Kath, Michele Metzger, and Jessica Brelje (Kevin Huml); grandchildren, Lindsay Kanakis (Jeremy), Morgan King (Robert), Brooklynn Louden (Greg), Brittany and Vanessa Lovro, Jonathon and Zachary McDonnell, Tessa and Addison Auth, Tyler and Eli Metzger, Desirae, Kjerstin, and Isaiah Brelje; 11 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Grace Church, 7950 Blaine Ave E, Inver Grove Heights, MN
