James "Jim" Reid

James "Jim" Reid, age 64 of Mound, MN passed away at home, Tuesday May 9, 2023. Born in Boston, MA to James Reid Sr. and Elinor Kay on September 17, 1958. Moved to the Twin Cities in 1989. Maintained employment in manufacturing and warehousing, including Stratasys and Costco. Loved woodworking, reading, spinning vinyl, watching movies, cooking, gathering with friends and family, and engaging in spirited conversations with all. He passed away on May 9, 2023, surrounded by close family and friends after a year-long battle with brain cancer.

He leaves behind a father, James Reid Sr, a brother, his wife and daughter, Kevin, Amie, and Mackenzie, a sister, Jane Gomes, son Seth and his two kids, Leila and Oliver, son Dylan, and his wife Alexandra, and their daughter, Everly, and his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Rachel Eleanor. 

Jim will be laid to rest on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Prairie Oaks Eco Gardens in Inver Grove Heights. MN.  Private burial with close family and friends. The family will be hosting a gathering to  honor Jim's life. This will he held at Summit Funeral & Cremation from 2pm - 5pm on Monday May 15, 2023.
