Jamie Lynn Hanson

Jamie Lynn Hanson age 49, of Hastings, MN unexpectedly passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Jamie was born to Steven Dille and Deborah (Rasmussen) Werner on August 1, 1971.  She graduated from Staples High school and MSC Southeast- Red Wing where she obtained her nursing degree. 

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and being the best Gigi to her grandchildren in her free time.  During her nursing career she’s worked at Augustana in Hastings, Woodbury Senior Living and Good Samaritan Society-Stillwater where she really enjoyed the work that she did.  She was known for her infectious smile, her quick wit humor and compassion for others. 

Jamie will be lovingly remembered by her children Lindsey (Craig) Hanson; Callie Jo (2) and Cole Jack (3 months), Tayler Hanson, and Brendan Avant. Her father Steve (Maggie) Dille. Her siblings Melissa Lorenz, Christina (Donald) Rokes, and Nick (Lonna) Dille. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Deborah. 

The family knows Jamie’s wishes would to not have a large gathering during the pandemic, a celebration of life will be planned in the spring/summer. 

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred, donations can be made to help secure college funds for Jamie’s minor son and grandchildren.
