Janet Sue Blom

Janet Blom, 86 years old, formerly of Maple Grove and Elkton, MN passed away May 28, 2023, with family by her side.

Janet was born December 1, 1936, in Colo, IA to Sidney and Josie Troutner. She attended school in Elkton and Waterville, MN. She was united in marriage to Ron Blom on January 5,
1957. They have three children: Melody Keranen, David Blom, Kristine Suhon. She belonged to Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka, MN. Her working life was with the Navy Department in Washington D.C., ASCS Office in Austin, owner of Menahga Lumber Sales, Menahga, MN and retired from Mayo Clinic Health System Rochester, MN. She enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards with her friends in Maple Grove.

Janet loved her family deeply. She is proceeded in death by her husband Ron, grandson Shane Keranen, granddaughter, Marah Beth Blom, sister Diane Kletschka and her parents.

She is survived by her children Melody (Dave) Keranen, Grove City, OH, David (Kathy) Blom, Maple Grove, MN and Kristine (Brian) Suhon, Dayton, MN, nephew, Tony Brown, niece Sherene Hawley, sisters, Darlene Bayer, Betty Jo Troutner, brother Sid Troutner, brother-in-law Gary (Alice) Blom, grandchildren Justin (Adrienne) Keranen, Kelly, Alex, Maya Blom, Ashlie (Trent) Quick, Amber (Kyle) Dehn, Marissa and Taylor Suhon, Austin Cunningham, Autumn and Sierra Hawley. Great grandchildren: Norah and Mikko Keranen, Oliver and Henry Quick, Tatum, Blakely, Blaire and Wesley Dehn, and Sawyer Cunningham.

A graveside service will be on August 19th, 2023 at Hoflanda Swedish Church, 20134 630th Ave., Rose Creek, MN.
