Jesse Gene Jacobson

Jesse G. Jacobson, age 43, of Minneapolis, MN passed away on May 29, 2020.

Jesse was born to Robert and Nancy (Courtier) Carey on November 23, 1976 in Council Bluffs, IA.  Jesse is preceded in death by his father, Robert Carey. 

He is survived by his adoptive father Jerry Jacobson, his mother Nancy, and his children Dominick & Gracyn Jacobson, his siblings Amy (& Kevin) Boucher, Tasha (& Jeff) Gabel and Scott (& Katherine) Jacobson, as well as his grandmother, Virginia Haley, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Jesse grew up in Iowa, Texas and Minnesota. He graduated from High School in Austin, MN in 1996 and from Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, MN in 1998 with a degree in Carpentry. He was married to Tami Jallo from 1999 to 2016. Their children, Dominick and Gracyn were the delight of his life. Jess was a skilled carpenter in remodeling and maintenance. He was a Maintenance Coordinator and was a Licensed General Contractor by trade.  

Friends and family will always remember Jesse for his loving, kind hearted and gentle soul. His memory will live on in the lives he touched along the way with his big heart willingness to always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Family will hold a graveside service followed by a celebration of life in Minnesota.
