Jesus Briseno was born on June 17, 1955, in Pacheco Zacatecas, Mexico. He is preceded in death by parents Julian Briseno Santos and Juana Del Rio Robles, his sister Maria Elena, his two brothers Nicolas and Julian.
Jesus came to the United States in 1979 and resided in Patterson, New Jersey. While there he was a cook in New York for 14 years. In 1992, he moved to Minnesota and worked for Sodexho in different locations until he had to quit working due to his many illnesses in 2006 when he was considered disabled and no longer able to work. Jesus loved to dance, fish, and enjoy time with family and friends. He also became a US citizen in 2010. He was very proud to become an American citizen.
He continued to help as much as he could in the kitchen. He loved making food, tamales, enchiladas, pozole, menudo, pepper-steak, and so many more of his favorite dishes. He was a remarkable man, loved by all, not just for his cooking, but for his personality. He had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed by all.
