Joan Rita McCalla

Joan McCalla passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023 at the age of 92.

Survived by her children, Maureen McCalla, Mark McCalla, Marilee (Mark) Forsberg, Michaela (Chuck) Timmers, and Midge (Troy) Anderson; 11 grandchildren, Michelle & Joe, Derek (Carley), Krista (Tewodros), Hunter (Rebecca), Celest, Alex (Alyssa), Katie (Max), Taylor (Anne), Trevor and Tristan; 9 great grandchildren, Nicklaus, Addy, Aurora, Beau, Sofia, Robby, Harper Joan, Theodore, Taytu; siblings Katie, Dorothy, MaryLou and Bob.

Preceded in death by her husband Doug and daughter Marlys. Joan raised her family in a neighborhood of special friends in St. Paul. Family and her love of family was what she valued most. She will be missed by many.

Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.
