Kimberly Marie "Kim" Reinhardt, 53, of Rosemount, MN, passed away on March 10, 2024, in the comfort of her home after an 18-month battle with brain cancer. Kim was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grammy. She was born on May 29, 1970, in Minneapolis, MN, to Ann Johnson and the late Art Johnson.
Kim accepted Christ as her Saviour under the ministry of the First Baptist Church of Rosemount, MN, where she also met the love of her life, Dennis Reinhardt, Sr. She graduated from First Baptist School. Kim was a multi-talented lady who could do just about anything she put her mind to. She and Dennis attended the Grace Baptist Church in Minneapolis. Kim cherished spending time with her friends and family, travelling with her husband, and listening to, singing along with, and tapping her toes to her favorite music. Kim will be remembered for her love for her family and her zest for life. Her hearty laugh and beautiful smile were so contagious and will be greatly missed by those that had the privilege to have Kim as a part of their lives. Kim was a faithful wife, mother, and friend who was always there when needed most. She strove to be a part of the special moments in her loved one’s lives, and she was always everyone’s biggest cheerleader throughout the steppingstones of life. Kim loved deeply. She was a mother-figure to all who came to her with the cares and concerns of life, guiding where needed, correcting when necessary, but always loving no matter what. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out: “A beautiful yellow rose that was ready to be picked to make Heaven even prettier."
Kim is survived by her mother, Ann Johnson; husband, Dennis Reinhardt; children, Elizabeth Szwarga (Kevin), Brittaney Reinhardt, Dennis Reinhardt, Jr., and Gabrielle Lutz (Ryan); grandchildren, Aubrielle, Emma, Andrew, Caleb, and Isaiah Szwarga; two brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, Art Johnson, and her stepfather, Frank Blumberg, Sr.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 2:30 PM, at First Baptist Church located at 14400 Diamond Path W, Rosemount, MN, 55068. Memorial contributions would be preferred instead of flowers. Contributions can be made to the First Baptist School as a “scholarship” for a student in need. Kim paid most of her way through high school, and it would be her desire to be honored by helping another young person in a similar situation as hers.
Kim will be deeply missed by all who knew her, yet all are at peace knowing that she is eternally healed and in the presence of her Savior.
