Patricia Marie Soule

Patricia Marie Soule, 74, passed away Oct. 22, 2023 at Guardian Angels Care Facility, Elk River, MN.

A celebration of her life will take place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12 at Rockwoods, 9100 Quaday Ave. NE, Otsego, MN.

Patricia (Patty/Pat) was born May 4, 1949 in Watertown, MN to Walter and Margaret Zimmerman of Winsted, MN and graduated Holy Trinity Catholic School, Class of 1967.  Patricia married Richard W. Soule Aug. 30, 1969. They were blessed with two children, Jerad and Sarah, raising their family in Ramsey and Big Lake.  After years of working at Honeywell, Patricia transitioned to custodial work and retired as Head Custodian for the Buffalo School District at Parkside Elementary.

She was a dedicated and hard worker, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, and making every holiday extra special.  Known for her kindness and giving nature, Patricia never failed to remember the little yet important things and had a smile and laugh that lit up the room with joy.  She adored her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and will be missed by so many who were blessed with knowing her.

Patricia was diagnosed with lung cancer in March 2015, which metastasized to her brain in September 2019 and later died from complications of radiation-induced brain necrosis.

Patricia is survived by her children Jerad (Nancy), Sarah (Matt Braun); grandchildren Will and Sam Soule and Abigail Braun; and sister Jane Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Margaret Zimmerman.
