Robert Anthony Franzen

Robert Anthony Franzen, age 51, of St. Paul, died June 28, 2021 at the Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale, MN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Franzen of Golden Valley. 

Rob is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughters, Sonia and Nadia; mother, Joyce; brother, Rick (Marci) ; sisters Denise (Terry), Michelle (Neal), and Yvonne. Rob also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; other relatives and lots of friends.

Rob loved to golf with his buddies, sip Mountain Dew, read comic books and graphic novels, blast music from his car stereo or airpods, and play guitar. But above all, he always put his girls, Sheila, Sonia, and Nadia, first. He was kind, sharp-witted, loyal, funny and always knew how to solve a problem. 

A celebration of life in his memory will be held at Eagle Valley Golf Course at 2600 Double Eagle Ln, Woodbury on Friday, July 16 from 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center, www.mdanderson.org/donors-volunteers/donate.
