Timothy William Parent

Timothy William Parent, age 59, of New Richmond died on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.  

Timothy was born the son of William and Sandra (Moulton) Parent on May 11, 1961 at Holy Family Hospital in New Richmond WI.  Tim graduated from New Richmond High School in 1979.  Tim worked doing lawn care and snow removal before becoming an over the road truck driver and eventually purchasing his own semi to become an owner operator.  Tim's sometimes brazen personality earned him the nickname "Dik" in his early adult years.  Tim was an avid reader and liked to be informed of current events. Tim loved his nieces and nephew and a visit from them was considered the highlight of his day.  Tim was a dog lover and had the pleasure of being owned by Kelly, Samson, and Barney DeHound over the years.  Tim enjoyed his sister’s black labs, Sophia and Olivia, and often referred to them as the "flea ridden jackals".

 Tim is preceded in death by his parents, William and Sandra Parent as well as younger brother Thomas Parent.  

Tim is survived by his siblings, Tamera (Tom) Revord, Candice Parent, and Christopher Parent; nieces and nephew, Rebecca Revord (Goddaughter), Alexandra Parent, Thomas Revord, and Taylor Parent.  

A private family burial will be held where Tim will be laid to rest along side his father, mother, and brother.  Internment is in the New Richmond Cemetery.
